Stay at Work or Drive Your Kids: Vandana Mishra Built goEasy So Working Parents Never Have to Choose Again
Every working parent knows the math. It never adds up.
School ends at three. Practice starts at four. The meeting runs late. The carpool falls through. And somewhere in that gap, between where you are and where your child needs to be, a decision gets made that no parent should have to make: your career or your kid’s opportunity.
Vandana Mishra made that calculation more times than she wanted to. A decade at Microsoft, a computer science degree, two prior companies, none of which solved the problem waiting for her every afternoon. She watched her daughters miss activities not because the opportunities weren’t there, but because getting them there reliably was a daily negotiation with an unreliable system. Carpools that were cancelled. Services she wasn’t fully comfortable with. The guilt that comes standard with working parenthood.
She looked around and realized every parent she knew was making the same impossible trade-offs. And no one had built anything worthy of their trust.
“Every day, working parents face an impossible choice: stay at work or drive their kids,” she says. “I built goEasy to end that. Not just another rideshare app, a child transportation service parents can truly trust.”
goEasy is a pre-scheduled, recurring ride service designed specifically for children, built around the predictability families need, and the safety parents won’t compromise on. Drivers are familiar faces, not strangers. Routes are recurring, not random. The service is built for the rhythm of real family life, not the convenience of occasional adults.
Based in the Greater Seattle area, goEasy has delivered tens of thousands of rides, earned the loyalty of hundreds of families, and built a retention rate that reflects what happens when a product genuinely solves a problem people feel every single day.
Vandana Mishra built goEasy as a founder. She needed it first as a mom.
