Women in Cloud, is pleased to announce Advocat.ai as the winner for the 2022 #CloudInnovateHER Global Pitch Challenge held at the recent #WICxAnnualSummit 2022. This pitch challenge was designed to showcase enterprise solutions developed by women tech entrepreneurs. Top finalists were selected from the previous #CloudInnovateHER Pitch Challenges which took place throughout 2021. 

Women in Cloud is a community-led economic development initiative taking action to accelerate massive societal impact at an unprecedented pace. We are going to generate over $1B in net new global economic access for women entrepreneurs by 2030 through partnerships with corporations, community leaders, and policymakers.

We received many inspiring and innovative solution nominations through 2021.  Solutions were evaluated for originality, market feasibility, and use of Cloud and AI solutions.

Microsoft #BuildFor2030 Hackathon Winners Announced: Women In Cloud Portfolio Companies Join The Winner’s Circle

As a Co-Founder and President of Women In Cloud, I’m passionate about engaging Fortune Brands to unlock infinite economic access for women to build a successful business and their leadership brands to lead digital transformations. One of the strategic initiatives we partnered was Microsoft #BuildFor2030 initiative, with a goal to explore, showcase and innovate transformational solutions & services that advance the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of 17 initiatives focused on creating a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable world by 2030.

Last year, we participated in a game-changing #buildfor2030 hackathon where all the WIC portfolio companies participated to unlock new industry solutions around five themes — gender equality, climate action and sustainability, digital inclusion and accessibility, enabling the nonprofit sector, and empowering communities.

As part of the #WICxALLIES campaign, Women in Cloud has partnered with tech-industry leader Gavriella Schuster to bring you the inaugural WICxALLIES Awards – recognizing the individuals who demonstrate allyship by empowering women in tech through Advocacy, Listening, Lifting, Including, Elevating and Sponsoring. 

Allies are the men and women building for inclusion through their everyday actions to bring more women into their network, organization and leadership roles. Allies are recognized across three categories: 

  • Overall Allyship Award – recognizing an ally who clearly demonstrates their work who act to Advocate, Listen, Lift, Include, Elevate and Sponsor women in their network with examples of outcomes.
  • Sponsor Award – recognizing a leader and ally who clearly demonstrates their work to sponsor women in tech through financial empowerment and mentorship.
  • Advocate Award – recognizing a leader and ally who clearly demonstrates their work to advocate for women in tech through their supplier and organizational ecosystems.
