Gryphon Consulting is a managed service provider of computer networks, data backup and recovery solutions, applications, personal computers, laptops, and smart phones with expertise in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft Office. We also assess, design, build, deploy, and manage networks. Our network support capabilities range from simple IT moves to remote network performance management.

Prior to starting Gryphon Consulting, Mr. Valdivieso started his career with Electronic Data Systems successfully completing the Systems Engineer Development Program and moving into a Project Management position where he led several full life-cycle development projects. After leaving EDS, Mr. Valdivieso joined Applied Digital Solutions and as the Director of Information Technology was responsible for the all of the information technology projects. Mr. Valdivieso joined Maricom Systems, Inc. as the Vice President of Business Development where he helped grow the company and successfully win several Federal Government contracts. Mr. Valdivieso was also the Vice President for the Federal Divison for TreCom System, Inc.

Mr. Valdivieso holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BS degree from the University of Florida.

As the creator of Founders Live, Nick is a successful entrepreneur with business achievements in social media, digital payments, and e-commerce. He excels at interpersonal leadership, communication, business and product development. In addition to creating the global entrepreneur network Founders Live, Nick stays busy as an advisor to numerous startups and occasionally takes positions in sales or biz dev roles if needed. Previously he founded the mobile payment startup Seconds as well as helping start Coinme, a company built around expanding bitcoin and digital transactions into the physical realm via Bitcoin ATM’s. As a sought-after adviser, entrepreneurial speaker and writer with guest appearances on popular technology and media outlets, Nick enjoys helping others discover their unique entrepreneurial path.

Karen Cone is the former Microsoft General Manager, Worldwide Financial Services Sector, and CEO and Board Director of the advisory research firm, TowerGroup. She currently serves on multiple advisory boards and is a venture partner for the MastersFund, focused on women founders in technology. Karen has also held senior executive positions with increasing responsibility and scope at IBM, MasterCard and Gartner, where she served on the Gartner International Board. She has lived and worked in the Americas, EMEA & Asia. Karen and her husband, Jeff, have three sons and four grandchildren and currently live in Seattle, Washington.

Russell most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cloud at Qumulo, responsible for the company’s cloud business including strategy, revenue, and go-to-market execution. Previously, he was Vice President of F5’s global cloud revenue and alliances business. Before that, Russell was GM at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he built and ran the AWS Marketplace and AWS Service Catalog business, growing AWS Marketplace from scratch into a $1b+ business with responsibility for its business development and operations, marketing, field sales and solution architecture. Prior to that, he spent nearly six years at Microsoft in business development and enterprise sales positions.

Russell is a member of the Advisory Board for Women in Cloud, Tribute, and the Fred Hutch Computational/Data Intensive Research.
