To accelerate its path to a $7 trillion economy by 2030, the ambition to build a Viksit Bharat, a developed, self-reliant, and digitally advanced nation, demands a revolution in talent readiness, digital resilience, and inclusive economic growth. In response, Veeam® Software, a global leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, together with Women in Cloud (WIC), has launched the ‘Saksham and Sakshar Bharat Initiative’ under the Bharat CyberSuraksha Mission. This is a landmark 3-year national workforce development program to certify 1 million people in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, and Cybersecurity, designed to unlock secure digital livelihoods and propel India’s leadership in the global AI-powered economy.

Over five days in Bangalore, Women In Cloud and Veeam will kick off a public-private partnership to unite academia, industry, and policy leaders to prepare 1 million Indians for the cyber-resilient, AI-powered economy.
